The Cambridge Information Literacy Framework was approved as a working document in October 2017. Since then the CILN project team have been working with the framework in various ways to test it. This has involved mapping it to current content, creating new content for Master’s students (CamGuides), running a one-day Forum, and giving Cambridge University Libraries a focus for Information Literacy Teaching.
For 2018-2019 CILN will be focusing on embedding the framework and using it as the basis upon which Cambridge Libraries can advocate for Information Literacy teaching to the University. Following on from the introduction of CamGuides, this next year will see the development of a Freshers pre-arrival course.
